After a great 4th of July weekend in Missouri and a little drama, I'm ready to get back at it. The band is still looking for just the right bass player and we have a few good prospects (maybe).

We had trouble last week with our software configuration which hindered our effort to record, but according to Gary it's fixed. So tonight we go after it again.

We have agreed to play the Chrystal Opry House in Tom Bean, TX on September 5th. We're working on our bluegrass chops in order to be able to accommodate a crowd expecting to hear "banjo music." I think we'll be fine. But you just might hear a couple of Eagles songs in the mix.
